You can never start too young

Practice is from 8 to 9 am every day.

Outside

I think one of the biggest perks of having girls is getting to buy flowery sun hats.  We've had some gorgeous gorgeous days in Seattle.  It may rain a lot, but when the sun comes out you can't beat it!  We've been taking the girls out on walks, to the park, and out in the back yard on a blanket.

These are pics from the first time we took them out back in early April -- they were not quite 7 months old.

No Good Excuse

Ok, there's no good excuse for why it took me so long to post.  The main reason is that I had to wipe my PC, and while I still have all the pictures backed up, I lost the albums I had created.  And it took me until now to dig through them and get organized...  So here are a couple of catch-up posts.

Better Late Than Never

I'm making up for my lack of posts by adding a bunch more photos to the slideshow (and pruning some of the older ones).  The girls are over 4 months old now, and they're getting big!  It's hard to believe how much they've grown since the earlier pictures.  They're both 24.5 inches tall (long), and over 14 (Maddie) and 17 (Jazz) pounds!  Yesterday they had their first bites of "solid" food -- oatmeal cereal.  Exciting stuff.  They got to meet Grandpa Pierce for the first time this week and have thoroughly charmed him of course.

Jasmine has started blowing bubbles over the past few days, sometimes with great conviction and intensity.  Maddie's personality is a bit more subtle.  She's been acting a bit like she's teething -- wanting to bite hard on toys and especially Mom's fingers.  We'll see though -- no sign of any teeth yet.

They are both healthy and usually happy.  We are all enjoying the visit and help from Grandma and Grandpa.  Mom is getting nervous about going back to work in a few weeks and starting a nanny search.
